Foundation Co-Sponsors B100 Overview Training in DC

Aug 29, 2019, 13:00 PM

On August 27, 2019 a training was held at the D.C. Department of Public Works’ Fleet Administration Facility to provide an overview of its B100 demonstration, using the Optimus Technologies add-on system.  This system  allows fleets to run on 100% biodiesel with no efficiency or mechanical issues. The DPW currently has 6 garbage packers using the B100 Optimus system and has ordered an additional 17 units.

Tom Verry, NBF Executive Director, stated, “This is innovative technology that will move the industry forward. We congratulate DC DPW for their leadership and REG for its investment in this demonstration.”

Thanks to all the sponsors for supporting this training: GWRCCC, REG, Optimus Technologies, DC Department of Public Works, and the National Biodiesel Foundation!
