The Beth Calabotta Sustainability Grant was established in 2018 to help deserving full-time students interested in science, research and biodiesel sustainability. This $2,000 grant provides financial aid to a student studying initiatives that promote or support the use of biodiesel or renewable diesel. A portion of the financial award should be used to cover the recipient’s costs to attend and participate in the Sustainability Workshop and related pre-and post-activities. The two-day Biodiesel Sustainability Workshop is scheduled for April 8-9, 2025. Any remaining funds should be applied toward academic expenses. This grant is currently open and interested students must submit application by Jan 17, 2025.

About Beth: Beth was an influential Foundation director for over ten years and integral in advancing the foundation’s research and educational efforts. To memorialize Beth for her lifetime achievements and dedication to biodiesel sustainability and research, this grant was established in 2017. Beth was an advocate for student development and an advocate for sustainability.
