Giving Tuesday Donation Support Tomorrows Scientists

One hundred percent of your donation will go to the NBF’s Dallas Hanks Memorial Fund to provide young scientists a life-changing opportunity to study and present biodiesel research at the National Conference. NBF’s Giving Tuesday campaign and the Dallas Hanks Memorial Fund offer yearly grants to Next Generation Scientists for Biodiesel. This year’s goal is $3,000! It only takes a few minutes to donate.

Last year’s virtual conference hosted 21 students from schools across the country. Justin Walck, University of Kansas, Chemical Engineering said after attending the conference,  “This conference gave me some insights I did not consider in this debate before. The message of “Better, Cleaner, Now!” is absolutely accurate. It is a fuel that is currently available and provides sustainability through its carbon neutrality.” Mary Sevart, grant awardee from the University of Kansas stated “This conference has really opened my eyes to the complexities of the energy problem faced around the world today. Before this conference, I already had a passion for renewable energy. This passion is now even larger, and I feel that I understand more about how to implement new renewable energy technologies and the challenges that face each type of fuel.”

Thank you in advance for supporting this valuable program.
